UTSA Downtown Campus hosts mentoring forum

By Tim Brownlee
Assistant Director of Public Affairs

(May 16, 2008)--UTSA will host the San Antonio Mentoring Forum from noon to 1 p.m., Monday, May 19 in Buena Vista Street Building Room 1.338 at the Downtown Campus. The brown-bag event is free and open to the public.

The forum, which meets at various venues in San Antonio, serves as an informal organization for mentoring organizations and advocates. Participants are invited to bring a lunch to the event and share information about mentoring successes and challenges, promote mentoring awareness and foster collaboration among those who serve as mentors.

A UTSA mentoring initiative, the event will focus on one-to-one mentoring for youth in Bexar County.
