Giant Voice technology demonstration is July 31

(July 30, 2008)--Between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m., Thursday, July 31 there be will a demonstration of the Giant Voice mass notification system technology near the Biotechnology, Sciences and Engineering Building on the 1604 Campus. During the demonstration, there may be loud music or vocal messages.

Giant Voice will be launched in September to augment UTSA's emergency notification system. The Giant Voice system will feature four outdoor speaker arrays that will deliver recorded or live announcements that optimally can be heard within 1,600 feet of each speaker array.
