UTSA's Patricia Graham to be honored Oct. 3

(Sept. 15, 2008)--No, she is not retiring -- but Patricia A. Graham, UTSA executive director of special events, will be honored for her 34 years at UTSA at a luncheon from noon to 1:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 3 in the University Center III ballroom on the 1604 Campus. Proceeds from the luncheon will benefit the Dr. Patricia A. Graham Scholarship Fund, which will help future UTSA students achieve their dreams.
Admission to the special luncheon is $60, $30 for students and $600 for tables of 10.

Graham's motto for serving students has always been, "Rough diamonds can become beautiful gems -- our job is to buff."
For more than 34 years, Graham has seen every UTSA graduate walk the stage at commencement ceremonies, helped more than 500 Ambassadors realize their potential and encouraged countless students to excel academically in the honor societies at UTSA. Her friends, former students and colleagues will honor her outstanding achievements and contributions to the university and students at the luncheon event.
