Classes teach discrimination, harassment prevention

(Jan. 7, 2009)--The UTSA Office of Human Resources will present a series of free classes during the spring semester on discrimination and sexual harassment prevention. Supervisors and employees can sign up today for the interactive and dynamic classes at TXClass.

RSS FeedsSupervisors can take SU317 and/or SU330. Non-supervisors should take SD309. For the new class, SU330: Applied Learning Scenarios, SU317 is a prerequisite.
A class may be required for some, or staff members simply may want to know the answers to questions such as these:
- Is it sexual harassment if someone at work asks me out?
- Does the protected class of gender include men too, or only women?
- Can I ask if someone has a disability? Can I ask about pregnancy?
- What's the difference between race, color, ethnicity or national origin?
