UTSA announces new process for flex hiring freeze
(Feb. 18, 2009)--In response UT System Chancellor Francisco Cigarroa's announcement of a flexible hiring freeze at all UT System institutions, a new process for creating new positions and posting replacement positions has been established.

A justification form will be required for all new and replacement positions funded from state accounts. New positions must be approved by the president, while replacements will be final-approved by the vice presidents.
