Nominate UTSA Student Volunteer of the Year

(March 2, 2009)--Nominations are being accepted for the UTSA Student Volunteer of the Year Award. The winner will receive the $500 Sandra Cisneros scholarship award. The nomination deadline is 5 p.m., Friday, March 6. The winner will be announced at the University Life Awards on Thursday, April 2.

The UTSA Student Volunteer of the Year Award was created to honor outstanding students for their time, effort and personal commitment to volunteerism and enhancing civic life in the community.
Applicants must embody the true spirit of civic engagement and volunteerism, be current UTSA students in good standing and have a minimum 2.50 cumulative G.P.A. Applicants cannot have been paid for the services they represent on the application. Students who are or have been associated with national service programs are eligible to apply.
