UTSA hosts XIV Biennial Art Faculty Exhibition

(April 7, 2009)--The UTSA Department of Art and Art History will present the XIV Biennial UTSA Art Faculty Exhibition April 8-19 at the UTSA Art Gallery on the Main Campus. The exhibition features recent works by faculty representing diverse media and making use of the full range of traditional methods and innovative interdisciplinary techniques.

Themes range from the representational to the abstract and the conceptual in scale that extends from the intimate to room-size installations. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

An opening reception, free and open to all, is 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, April 8. For the reception, free parking will be available in lot 8.

The UTSA Art Gallery is in the Arts Building on the UTSA Main Campus. From Interstate 10, take exit 557 to UTSA Boulevard. At the second traffic light, turn right onto James Bauerle Boulevard. Turn left onto O'Neil Ford Avenue and then make an immediate right into lot 8. The Arts Building is on the right at the top of the walkway to the center of campus.
