UTSA M.B.A. named Top 25 program by national magazine

(July 30, 2009)--The UTSA College of Business M.B.A. program was ranked one of the top 25 programs in the nation for Hispanics by Poder Enterprise magazine.
The ranking was based on academic quality, selectivity, minority student enrollment, international curricula and the availability of professional business organizations. Consideration also was given to schools with highly rated Executive M.B.A. programs and global business opportunities.
UTSA was noted for having excellent academic programs and student services for first-generation and minority students, a large Hispanic faculty population and prestigious international affiliations.
Schools included in the ranking chronologically were Stanford University; University of Texas at Austin; Yale University; University of California, Berkeley; New York University; UCLA; University of North Carolina; Duke University; Columbia University; Northwestern University; University of Pennsylvania; Georgetown University; Dartmouth University; UTSA; University of Michigan; University of Rochester; University of Chicago; Southern Methodist University; University of Southern California, Emory; Harvard University; University of Virginia; University of Florida; Cornell University and the University of Miami.
Poder Enterprise is a publication for Hispanic leaders and decision makers with analysis of business, economic and social trends.
