(Aug. 7, 2009)--Faculty proposals for fall 2009 Core Values Initiative programs are being accepted now through the offices of the deans and should be submitted for review to Debra Jamison in the Office of the Provost. The deadline for funding consideration for fall 2009 programs is Tuesday, Sept. 1.

Under the leadership of UTSA Provost John Frederick, the Core Values Initiative began last spring as a way to foster UTSA's core values of integrity, excellence, inclusiveness, respect, collaboration and innovation.

The initiative was created following the development of UTSA's 10-year strategic plan, "A Shared Vision: UTSA 2016," which includes new mission and vision statements to guide UTSA's future.

For more information on the Provost's UTSA Core Values Initiative, download the proposal guidelines (PDF document) or contact Debra Jamison, Office of the Provost, at (210) 458-4969.
