(Oct. 9, 2009)--The UTSA student organization Clayfusion invites UTSA community members to put their creative skills to the test by making ceramics. The completed projects will be part of the group's clay sale, a fundraiser that benefits a variety of student educational projects.

Called "The Make-a-thon," the event is 4-7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 9 in the Sculpture and Ceramics Studio (1.00.06) on the UTSA West Campus adjacent to parking lot 12 at the Main Campus. There will be free food and drinks.

Clayfusion raises money to fund activities to enhance ceramic education and promote the ceramic arts locally and regionally.
