(Nov. 17, 2009)--Forty-seven UTSA participants were tracked at San Antonio's Rock 'n Roll Marathon and Half Marathon on Sunday, Nov. 15. UTSA mathematics lecturer Andrea Cordaway tackled and subdued the 26.2-mile marathon.

The average age of the UTSA competitors was 35.6 years, ranging from ages 19 to 62. The average time for UTSA men to complete the half marathon (13.1 miles) was 2.40 hours; UTSA women averaged 3.08 hours.

With sponsorship by the UTSA Wellness Program, new wellness coordinator Kristee Phelps was on hand to cheer on the team.
