UTSA Campus Technology Store hosts Faculty-Staff Appreciation Day Dec. 7
(Dec. 3, 2009)--Just in time for holiday shopping, the UTSA Campus Technology Store will host a Faculty-Staff Appreciation Day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, Dec. 7. The store is in the University Center on the Main Campus adjacent to Starbucks.
The daylong event will feature product discounts, a drawing for an iPod Nano and light refreshments. Doughnuts and coffee will be available from 9 to 11 a.m., and coupons will be handed out while they last. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., every hour on the hour, the store will give away flash drives, cups and pens.
The Campus Tech store offers one-stop shopping for a variety of top brands including Adobe, Dell, Hewlett-Packard and Microsoft. The store carries computers, software, peripherals and other IT supplies. Notably, there is a wide selection of Apple products including the MacBook, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Mini, MacBook Air, Time Capsule and Airport. The store also offers the iPod Classic, iPod Touch, iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle in a variety of colors and storage capacities.
Faculty-Staff Appreciation Day is the first day of the three-day "Tech the Halls" holiday sale. During the sale running Dec. 7-9, faculty and staff will receive an additional $25 off its education pricing for MacBooks and MacBook Pros.
