(Feb. 26, 2010)--Fire alarm systems at the UTSA Tri-campuses are tested each fiscal year, as required by the State Fire Marshal's Office. Some buildings appear on the schedule twice. These buildings receive a second inspection to put them on a permanent inspection cycle within the state-allowed 13-month interval. Audio and visual alarms including horns, speakers and lights will be tested after 10 p.m. All other testing and inspection of fire alarm system components will be performed between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
