Starbucks coming to JPL food court, POD snack bar coming to HSS
(June 22, 2010)--ARAMARK, the UTSA dining services vendor, will open a Starbucks coffee shop and an expanded salad bar in the John Peace Library food court and a snack bar in the Humanities and Social Sciences Building. Additionally, some furniture will be replaced in the JPL food court. The expanded salad bar, new furniture and snack bar will be in place in time for the fall semester. Starbucks will open later in the fall semester.
The HSS snack bar, called Provisions on Demand (POD), will offer coffee, sandwiches, salads, sushi and a variety of grab-and-go foods including snacks and bottled beverages.
The new facilities come as a result of MarketMatch, a strategic planning process established in fall 2009 to plan for the future of the UTSA dining program. ARAMARK and UTSA Business Auxiliary Services are committed to bringing new options to the UTSA community and to continuous improvement of services.
