Apple in higher education workshops to present new iPads, Macbook Air, iLife
(Nov. 22, 2010)--UTSA faculty and staff members are invited to workshops presented by Apple representatives to learn how iPads, Macs and the latest Apple software can support the higher education environment.
The Apple in Higher Education Workshop will be:
- 3-4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 30, University Center Harris Room (2.212), Main Campus
- 3-4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 1 in the University Center Bexar Room (1.102), Main Campus
There will be refreshments, and the presentations will be the same at both workshop.
"Apple's revolutionary and easy-to-use technology can have a dramatic impact on how you do your work, whether you are in a boardroom, science lab or artist's studio," said John Starcke, account executive for Apple Higher Education.
Starcke will be joined by Dreux Ste. Marie, a senior systems engineer with Apple Higher Education. They will demonstrate the new Macbook Air, the iPad and iLife' 11 software and explain useful applications for the higher education setting.
Sample products will be on display courtesy of the Campus Technology Store, UTSA's authorized Apple campus store. Workshop participants can experience and interact with the products at any time during the workshop.
