New International SOS training class offered this summer for staff and students
(May 31, 2011)--A new UTSA Training and Development class will be available this summer to help with the International SOS registration process. The mandatory class will provide important information for international travel participants and department administrative support staff.
>> Beginning June 1, staff and faculty can sign up for the training session at the MyTraining website.
Two sessions will be offered. Enrollment is capped at 25 people per session:
- 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, June 15, University Center Ash Room (2.03.06), Main Campus
- 3-4 p.m., Thursday, July 7, Buena Vista Street Building Room 4.304A, Downtown Campus
The class is useful for administrative personnel who regularly assist UTSA faculty members and students with international travel preparations. Enrollment in International SOS is mandatory; the UT System requires the class for all work-related international travel.
