(May 12, 2011)--As of May 16, UTSA departments can begin the submission process to establish new contracts or extend current equipment maintenance, software licenses/maintenance and other service contracts for fiscal year 2012. Multi-year contracts must be renewed annually.

If departments have current multi-year service contracts, a new PB4 or PB7 request must be created in sufficient time for the contract to be renewed and become effective Sept. 1, 2011. Submit requests as early as possible to ensure enough time for the procurement or contracting processes.

For year-end dates, deadlines and other information, visit the UTSA Purchasing website "Announcements" section.

For more information and assistance, contact your department's purchasing buyer or call 210-458-4060.
