UTSA faculty and staff: Rowdy New U can help with healthy resolutions
(Jan. 18, 2012) -- Many people across America have set New Year's resolutions including eating healthier, being more active, losing weight and feeling better. For UTSA faculty and staff members who aren't sure where to start, there is the free Rowdy New U Worksite Wellness Program – to take the right steps for your resolutions.
The program will guide you through your nutritional, fitness and wellness needs. Some of the programs are:
- Weight Watchers at Work
- Group fitness classes -- Zumba!, circuit training, strength training
- Walking trails
- Demo kitchen presentations
- Wellness lecture courses (register at MyTraining)
- Quarterly biometric assessments (Know your numbers -- body mass index, percent body fat, blood pressure)
- Living Well: Make it a Priority -- Health Quotient
- Website and online tracking device

Join the PEACE Center and Wellbeing Services for Denim Day, a day of learning about the importance of consent and why we wear denim on the last Wednesday of the month each April during Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
