(Sept. 16, 2013) -- UTSA students who are nursing mothers have requested a private space to pump breast milk while on campus. In the past, these requests were managed on a case-by-case basis. In the effort to further accommodate these students, UTSA Student Health Services announces the establishment of a new resource Web page that lists room options at the Main and Downtown campuses that can be used for lactation purposes.

Some rooms must be reserved in advance, and some are available on a walk-in basis at scheduled times.

Student Health Services appreciates the help of faculty and staff in making colleagues aware of the new resource for students.

For more information, contact Barbara Reyes, assistant director of health promotions and marketing at Student Health Services, at 210-458-6419.
