UTSA community invited to Rowdy Wing Fling on Friday, Sept. 27
(Sept. 23, 2013) -- The UTSA Office of Student Activities invites UTSA students, faculty and staff to Rowdy Wing Fling from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 27 at the Convocation Center east lawn on the Main Campus. The event is to educate and promote awareness of the risks and responsibilities of alcohol use.
UTSA departments and San Antonio community agencies will share information about their services and programs. Event participants also can enjoy free chicken wings and t-shirts, along with games and a concert. Participants will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge on campus and community resources, how alcohol affects individuals, and learn how to reduce underage and high-risk drinking.
Sponsors for the event include UTSA Office of Student Activities, Be A Responsible Roadrunner, Campus Activities Board, ARAMARK, Campus Living Villages, Campus Recreation, Counseling Services, Inclusion and Community Engagement Center, Student Conduct and Community Standards, Student Health Services, UTSA Housing and Residence Life, and the UTSA Police Department.
