UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures hosts Kidcation events in August
(Aug. 5, 2014) -- The UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures will participate in Kidcation Aug. 8-17. The event coordinated by the San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau is described as the last hurrah of the summer, when the city is transformed into a playground for children and families.
During Kidcation, everyone in the family visiting the Institute of Texan Cultures will pay the $6 kids admission price, plus enjoy a 10-percent discount when purchasing a museum membership.
As part of Kidcation at ITC, "Vaquerocation" with cowboy-themed activities is every Wednesday and Sunday in August. There will be opportunities to meet cowboys, enjoy book readings and participate in activity tables.
Kidcation Week happens across San Antonio, where you'll find special offers on hotels, restaurants and attractions, as well as special summertime events designed just for kids and their families.
