UTSA Roadrunners football 'Orange Out' for Sept. 4 season opener
(Sept. 3, 2014) -- Roadrunners football fans are encouraged to wear their UTSA garb and "Orange Out" on campus and at the first home game of the year Thursday, Sept. 4. Kickoff at the Alamodome for the game against Arizona is 7 p.m. UTSA students are admitted free to the game with UTSACard.
Because of construction and congestion around the Alamodome, fans should plan to arrive at least one hour before kickoff. There are several transportation and parking options for the game.
Parking
Free parking will be available from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. on game day in City of San Antonio operated parking spaces, lots and garages, excluding the Alamodome. This includes four garages, 10 lots and more than 2,000 parking meters. For more information, visit the City of San Antonio website.
All Alamodome parking lots are sold out. For those with Alamodome parking lot passes, the gates will open at 1 p.m.

The last bus returning from the Alamodome leaves 45 minutes after the game. Purchase a VIA token each way for the bus at Roadrunner Express on the University Center Paseo. Students receive a discounted price on tokens.
UTSA Main Campus shuttles
UTSA Parking and Transportation will run shuttles from 3 to 4 p.m. to the Alamodome. Park in the Tobin Garage and catch the shuttle adjacent to Laurel Village on Tobin Avenue.
