UTSA Spring Commencement is May 9-10 at the Alamodome
(April 27, 2015) -- More than 4,000 graduation candidates will be eligible to walk across the stage on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10 as the university celebrates spring commencement ceremonies at the Alamodome
UTSA President Ricardo Romo will be the keynote speaker at the three commencement ceremonies.
A total of 4,357 degree candidates are eligible to graduate, including 3,533 bachelor's students, 751 master's students and 73 doctoral students.
The first commencement ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 9 with graduates from the College of Education and Human Development and College of Sciences. The second ceremony will follow at 4 p.m. for graduates of the College of Engineering, College of Liberal and Fine Arts and University College.
Commencement will continue on Sunday, May 10 at 2 p.m. with graduates from the College of Architecture, Construction and Planning, College of Business and College of Public Policy.
Students who missed Grad Fest and still have not purchased their regalia for commencement may do so in person at the Main Campus Bookstore beginning Wednesday, April 29.
Graduates should arrive at the Alamodome two hours before their ceremony begins and proceed to the check-in area located on the ground level after they park. Students should not be dropped off. Alamodome parking is $15. The doors will open for guests two hours before each ceremony.
