The Great Staff Appreciation Event to honor UTSA staff members
(April 13, 2015) – To recognize the roughly 2,600 UTSA staff members and their many contributions to the university, the UTSA Staff Council will host The Great Staff Appreciation Event from 3 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12 in the HUC Ballroom at the Main Campus. The event is free and open to all UTSA staff members.
This end-of-year celebration will include a photo booth, DJ and line dancing, giveaways, light refreshments and special remarks by UTSA President Ricardo Romo.
The Great Staff Appreciation Event is generously sponsored by the Office of the President and the Office of the Vice President for Business Affairs.
The UTSA Staff Council works to continually improve university operations and the well-being of the university's staff. Charged by the president and the Board of Regents of the University of Texas System, the 35 members of the Staff Council represent all administrative areas of the university and serve as an advisory body, making recommendations to the president regarding the interests and concerns of staff. The council coordinates staff appreciation awards and events and provides scholarships for eligible staff pursuing degrees at the university.
