Roadrunner Days: Events schedule for Friday, Aug. 21 and Saturday, Aug. 22

(Aug. 21, 2015) – As the first week of classes close, Roadrunner Days concludes with movie showings, a volleyball match, a Student Organization Showcase and Roadrunner Late Night.

Notably, UTSA students are invited to kick off a new tradition, Roadrunner Late Night – Blue and Orange Madness. The event, scheduled from 9 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22, will include games and other fun activities along the Main Campus Paseo.

Here's what's going on this weekend:

Friday, Aug. 21

UCinema Screening of Mad Max
9 p.m., University Center Retama Auditorium

Saturday, Aug. 22

UTSA Volleyball Match, Meet and Greet
11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Convocation Center

Student Organization Showcase
7-9 p.m., University Center Paseo and Lawn

The official kick-off of the new academic year, UTSA Roadrunner Days features a series of themed events running through Saturday, Aug. 22 at the Main and Downtown campuses. The events and activities give students an opportunity to take part in time-honored UTSA traditions and connect with UTSA resources.
