UTSA photo of the day: Construction of the John Peace Library

(Sept. 30, 2015) -- The John Peace Library (JPL) stands as the largest of UTSA's libraries with three floors of resources, study spaces and academic support services. It's also the oldest UTSA library. Built in 1974, the JPL was part of the initial phase of construction on UTSA's Main Campus, pictured here. The library is named for John R. Peace II, an active member of the San Antonio community who championed efforts to bring a four-year public university to San Antonio as a member of the Board of Regents of the UT System.
