UTSA to host Oct. 10 boot camp for technology entrepreneurs
(Oct. 8, 2015) -- The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Center for Innovation and Technology Entrepreneurship (CITE) will host its biannual Technology Entrepreneurship Boot Camp, sponsored by Jackson Walker LLP, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 10 in the Business Building Liu Auditorium (BB 2.01.02) on the UTSA Main Campus.
This year's keynote speaker will be Dirk Elmendorf, co-founder of Rackspace, the world’s largest hosting and cloud company, now worth about $7 billion. Throughout the day, several experts from local companies will discuss essential technology entrepreneurship topics such as identifying opportunities, securing start-up funds, manufacturing products, writing business plans, pitching, marketing innovative ideas and protecting intellectual property.
Registration for the boot camp is free and open to the UTSA community as well as the general public, but the event has limited seating to it’s best to register as soon as possible here.
