UTSA College of Business launches Master of Science in Business for non-business majors
(Feb. 2, 2016) -- Recognizing the need for all students to be able to receive education in business fundamentals, the UTSA College of Business is launching a new Master of Science in Business degree program designed for non-business majors.
Beginning in Summer 2016, the full-time, cohort program is offered during the daytime and completed in less than one year. Students will receive a comprehensive overview of business fundamentals such as accounting, economics, finance, management and marketing.
The program will leverage the critical thinking and analytical skills gained in a variety of undergraduate fields and pair that with cutting-edge business tools to help students launch a rewarding career.
The daytime program will include coursework in accounting, business analysis, effective negotiating, project management and marketing. In addition students will receive professional development training in business communication, writing and professional development.
