UTSA grad school programs rank among best in country
(March 28, 2016) --The UTSA College of Public Policy’s graduate program in social work has been ranked 91 among the top 100 social work graduate programs in the country by the U.S. News & World Report’s 2016 College Rankings Guide. The program is also ranked fourth among Texas universities.
“This is great for the UTSA Social Work Program,” said Martell Teasley, chair of the UTSA Department of Social Work. “It is a testimony to our faculty’s dedication to teaching, learning and research.”
The U.S. News & World Report surveys nearly 1,800 schools each year. The College Ranking guides measure and compare the strength of academic programs to create nearly 50 unique types of rankings and lists to help prospective college students narrow their choices.
Other UTSA top-tier programs are listed in the 2016 U.S. News & World Report’s Best Grad School Rankings Guide. In addition, the university is ranked No. 538 among the U.S. News’ Best Global Universities Rankings.
