(May 20, 2016) — Most of us would like to forget the recent hail storms that hit San Antonio, but UTSA geology research professor Stephen Ackley and student Alex Rodriguez can't get enough of the icy aftermath. They're studying hail stones from the storms. Their research could lead to faster, more accurate severe weather warnings.
