UTSA Roadrunner Days Schedule: August 24
(August 24, 2016) -- It's our favorite time of the year. The official kick-off of UTSA's new academic year, Roadrunner Days, runs Aug. 19-28 at the Main and Downtown campuses.
Roadrunner Days events and activities give students an opportunity to take part in time-honored UTSA traditions and connect students with UTSA resources.
Here is what's going on at UTSA today:
President's BBQ on the Plaza
Wednesday, 4 p.m. - 6 p.m., Bill Miller Plaza, Downtown Campus
The UTSA community joins President Ricardo Romo, as he hosts a free BBQ meal at the Downtown Campus.
Graduate Student Welcome
Wednesday, 4 p.m. - 6 p.m., Bill Miller Plaza, Downtown Campus
While enjoying the BBQ before heading to evening classes, UTSA graduate students can learn more about what UTSA has to offer, participate in fun activities and listen to music.
Fraternity and Sorority Life Informational and Mix and Mingle
Wednesday, 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., UC Travis and UC Harris then UC Lawn, Main Campus
Students are invited to attend the Fraternity/Sorority Life Informational and Mix and Mingle. This is an opportunity for students to meet-and-greet with members of the fraternity/sorority life community, plus a place to get together with other new Roadrunner friends.
