UTSA Roadrunner Days Schedule: August 26-28

TITLE

(August 26, 2016) -- It's our favorite time of the year. The official kick-off of UTSA's new academic year, Roadrunner Days, runs Aug. 19-28 at the Main and Downtown campuses.

Roadrunner Days events and activities give students an opportunity to take part in time-honored UTSA traditions and connect students with UTSA resources.

Here is what's going on at UTSA this weekend:

UCinema Movie
Friday, 9 p.m., University Center Lawn, Main Campus
Grab some friends and meet some new ones during a night at the movies on the UC Lawn. Tonight's feature: Captain America: Civil War.

Football Fan Appreciation Day
Saturday, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m., Convocation Center, Main Campus
Roadrunners unite as we ring in the Coach Frank Wilson era. There will be raffle prizes, giveaways and a tailgating competition among UTSA Football tailgate groups. Meet your 2016 Roadrunners football team, get autographs and meet Coach Wilson.

Student Organization Showcase
Saturday, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., University Center Lawn, Main Campus
All current registered student organizations are invited and encouraged to participate in the Showcase which allows all new students an opportunity to learn more about the involvement opportunities and student life at UTSA.

UCinema Movie
Saturday, 7 p.m., University Center Denman Room, Main Campus
Hang out with friends for an encore showing of Captain America: Civil War.

The UC and All That Jazz
Sunday, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., H-E-B University Center Ballrooms, Main Campus
Come enjoy a free brunch and listen to Jazz music as we mark the end of a successful Roadrunner Days 2016.
