The featured article “Running the Road” by Reginald Stuart focuses on Dr. Romo’s impact on UTSA and the growth of the university.

“Today, Romo is setting records in higher education as the veteran president since May 1999 of the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and architect of its ambitious goal to become a leading Tier One institution of research.”

The article says UTSA is one of the fastest growing higher education institutions in Texas offering unique study abroad programs and innovative opportunities in fields such as cyber security, healthcare, energy, sustainability and human and social development.
