Want to get hyped up in the days leading up to the game? Here are a few tips


(Sept. 13, 2016) — The UTSA Roadrunners square off against Arizona State at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16 inside the Alamodome.  Come out and cheer loud for your ‘Runners as they face the Sun Devils in front of a nationally televised audience on ESPN2. Here are a few ways to keep up with the game day excitement in the days leading up to kickoff.

Game Week Wednesday
Wednesdays, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Central Plaza, UTSA Main Campus
Show your support for your UTSA athletes at Game Week Wednesday. Roadrunner Productions invites ’Runners to stop by the Central Plaza on Main Campus each Wednesday during football season and meet some of the players. Athletes from UTSA Men and Women’s Basketball, Volleyball, and more also will drop by if they’re playing that week.

The Frank Wilson Show 
Wednesdays, 7 p.m., Lion and the Rose Pub, 17627 La Cantera Parkway
The Frank Wilson Show airs on Ticket 760 AM radio at 7 p.m. every Wednesday. Tune in to hear Coach Wilson and co-host Andy Everett share behind-the-curtain insights into what UTSA Roadrunner Football is all about.

Blue and Orange Madness (Pre-Game)
Before home games, Alamodome & Alamodome Lots B and C
Get Rowdy! Roadrunners, wear your blue and orange each game and support your UTSA Football team at Blue and Orange Madness. Each home game, join fellow UTSA fans for music, games, food and Rowdy traditions. Blue and Orange Madness includes the Spirit Walk at Roadrunner Alley, located between Alamodome Lots B and C, where fans can cheer on the players and coaches, cheerleaders, marching band and Rowdy, as they march into the Alamodome for the game. Students will also have the chance to celebrate and show off their Roadrunner pride at a gathering before and after the Spirit Walk under the train overpass.

Rowdy Town (Pre-Game)
Before each home game, Sunset Station and VIA bridge north of the Alamodome
Rowdy Town is the ultimate College Football Game Day experience, and it’s free. There will be food, music, tailgating and hundreds of ways to show UTSA spirit.

This week’s Spirit Walk begins Friday at 6:15 p.m. on Cherry St. in between Lots B and C. Tailgating starts at 8 a.m. when the parking lots open.

UTSA Alumni Tailgate
Before each home game, Sunset Station
Tailgating is a time-honored tradition at football games. The UTSA Alumni Association and San Antonio Credit Union invite fans to experience what they’re calling “the best alumni tailgate around.”  There will be food, music, a live watch party and more. Game Day Transportation
Need a lift to the game? There are several ways to get to the stadium without worrying about parking. Buy VIA bus tokens at Roadrunner Express on the U.C. Paseo for $1.25 each. Get Your Tickets
UTSA students are eligible for free admission to all UTSA games. Students may also purchase up to four guest tickets at $10 per ticket for seating in the student section. Click here for more information. General public can purchase tickets online here. Additionally, tickets can be purchased by calling 210-458-8872 (UTSA), and the Alamodome's Southwest Box Office will open at 10 a.m. on Friday for ticket sales.

"Come And Take It" Flags 
Starting this season during the break between the end of the third quarter and start of the fourth quarter at each home game, music and a video will play that will prompt fans to engage in a new tradition by holding up their Come and Take It flags in support of the team. The idea is that heading into the fourth quarter, regardless of the score, the fans and the team are not backing down and we are going to give it our all. As Coach Wilson says, “All Hands on Deck!”
There are special Orange Come And Take It Flags now, and season ticket holders can pick up 1 free flag per account in the South Lobby of the Alamodome at Saturday's game.
