UTSA to make history at inaugural bowl game in New Mexico
(December 8, 2016) – The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) has made it easy for Roadrunner fans to cheer on the football team in person during its first ever post-season stint. UTSA will play the New Mexico Lobos in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl at noon (MT) on Saturday, Dec. 17, at University Stadium in Albuquerque.
The UTSA ticket office has great seats available where Roadrunner fans can sit together in the designated UTSA sections. A commemorative bowl t-shirt is also included with every ticket purchased through UTSA.

Anthony Travel also has a block of rooms reserved at the Albuquerque Marriott, UTSA's team hotel. Fans can purchase from the room block here.
Before the game, fans can come together at the official UTSA Tailgate in Albuquerque, Saturday, Dec. 7 at 9:30 a.m. in the University Stadium parking lot. Fans are encouraged to pre-purchase tickets on the UTSA Tailgate website.
UTSA, in just its sixth season of play, matched the NCAA record for the fastest program to reach a bowl game with today's announcement, equaling South Alabama (2014) and Georgia State (2015), who both earned bowl invitations in their sixth campaign.
Led by first-year head coach Frank Wilson, the UTSA Roadrunners finished the regular season with a 6-6 record and became bowl eligible for the first time in program history with their 33-14 victory against Charlotte on Nov. 26.
