Metropolitan Research and Policy Institute Hosts
Presidential Lecture April 16

Ramon Eduardo RuizThe Metropolitan Research and Policy Institute presents the UTSA Presidential Lecture at 7 p.m. Monday, April 16 in the Riklin Auditorium in the Frio Street Building.

The lecture is co-hosted by UTSA President Ricardo Romo and Harriett Romo.

"Mexico: Distorted Development and the Global Economy" will be presented by Ramon Eduardo Ruiz, a distinguished historian and author.

Ruiz, professor emeritus at the University of California at La Jolla, has written "On the Rim of Mexico," "The Great Rebellion: Mexico, 1905-1924" and "Triumphs and Tragedy: A History of the Mexican People."
