UTSA Hires New Financial Aid Director
(Aug. 13, 2001)--The University of Texas at San Antonio has named Lisa Blazer to serve as the director of financial aid. She assumes her UTSA duties on August 13. Blazer brings 10 years of experience to the position, most of it in higher education in the St. Louis area.She served as admissions counselor at Missouri Baptist College in St. Louis, director of financial aid at Missouri Technical School and director of financial aid at University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio.
"I am very excited about continuing to serve the San Antonio community as the director of financial aid at UTSA. With a focus grounded in customer service, my vision is that the UTSA community will have confidence in the abilities and resources that the Office of Student Financial Aid provides," said Blazer.
Blazer earned a bachelor’s degree from Missouri Baptist College and a master of arts degree in administration from the University of the Incarnate Word.
