UTSA Enrollment Springs Forward Again Census reports for the spring 2001 semester show 17,993 students taking 186,383 credit hours. The totals reflect a 3.1 percent gain in students and a 3.6 percent gain in credit hours over last spring. These figures include 15,615 undergraduates and 2,378 graduate students. At the UTSA Downtown Campus, enrollment jumped to 3,303 students, an increase of 4.2 percent. Approximately two-thirds of the students attending classes at the Downtown Campus also take at least one class at the 1604 Campus. Overall, the College of Business comprises the most students, with 4,433 majors, while Liberal and Fine Arts has 3,976; Sciences, 3,546; Education and Human Development, 2,899; Engineering, 971; and Urban Professional Programs, 674.
