Staff Council Forging Ahead The 30-member committee will conduct their next meeting at 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22 in the Assembly Room in the John Peace Library Building. Items on the agenda include committee reports, staff recognition awards and the energy conservation campaign. "At first we had to get the council organized," said John Poindexter, chair of the Staff Council. "Now we're ready to discover the issues and respond to them." "Each of our members express an enthusiasm to serve their constituents," he said.
