UTSA Today: Your Source for Campus News and Services

Are You Using the Correct UTSA Today URL?

UTSA Today readers are reminded to check the URL address that they are currently using to access the UTSA Today page. Following a recent restructuring on the university's Web server, UTSA Today has moved to a new address.

Users are currently being redirected to the site if they enter the old address, but this service will be removed shortly. To continue to view the page, users should visit the site at http://www.utsa.edu/today/index.html.

Instructions follow below on how to change your default homepage permanently using either Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer.

How can you make UTSA Today your default homepage again?

Using Netscape Navigator/Communicator

  1. Start Netscape Navigator/Communicator.
  2. Click on the EDIT menu and select PREFERENCES. A dialog box will appear with a series of options.
  3. Select the NAVIGATOR option on the left of the page. On the right hand side of the page go to the HOME PAGE section and type in the new UTSA Today address http://www.utsa.edu /today/index.html where it says HOME PAGE LOCATION.

Using Internet Explorer

  1. Start Internet Explorer.
  2. Go to the TOOLS menu option and select INTERNET OPTIONS.
  3. Under the GENERAL tab, the default home page selection is the first option. Either type the new URL in the window, http://www.utsa.edu/today/index.html, or if you already have the page loaded, select the USE CURRENT option.
