UTSA Faculty and Students Honored in Who's Who Editions

UTSA students selected for Who's Who were honored during a breakfast.Fifty UTSA faculty members were recently recognized by their former students and chosen to be included in Who's Who Among America's Teachers, 2000.

Faculty members were nominated by former students who felt they had "made a difference in their lives."

Over 20 individuals chosen have been included in multiple editions of this publication. The Divisions of Behavioral and Cultural Sciences; English, Classics, Philosophy and Communication; and Education led with the most honorees.

UTSA's students were also well represented in the 2000-2001 edition of Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities. The 109 students honored were recognized at a University breakfast last Saturday.

Included in the ranks were 33 juniors, 71 seniors and five graduate students. In addition, 88 honorees were officers in a student organization, 91 students were employed and 64 students were scholarship recipients.
