Workers Still Needed For Chisholm Hall Evacuation Center

Although all residents of Chisholm Hall have left campus for the summer or moved into the Oaks Apartments, additional staff are needed to help at the Chisholm Hall Evacuation Center, according to Rosalie Ambrosino, vice president for student affairs.

"We thank the hundreds of members of the UTSA community who have responded to the call for help," she said. "As we continue to clean students personal effects, we still need individuals to serve as liaisons and answer inquiries."

The Center will continue to need staff until 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and from 12 noon to 5 p.m. Saturday. Additionally, it will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday of next week. "Staff are continuing to receive a high volume of calls from students and their parents," Ambrosino added.

Contractors are working multiple shifts each day to clean the residents' personal belongings, which can be picked up by students as soon as the cleaning is completed. Students unable to retrieve their items will have them shipped to them as soon as possible.

Individuals interested in working at the Chisholm Hall Evacuation Center (in the University Center) are encouraged to call 458-4725.
