Texas Folklife Festival Tickets Now Available by Mail

Order your tickets for the 30th annual Texas Folklife Festival now by mail and save! Advance tickets for adults 13 years and older are $6, a savings of $2 over the full gate price. Tickets for children 6 to 12 years are $2 in advance or at the gated, while children five years and under are admitted free.

Groups of 20 or more advance, mail-ordered adult tickets may be purchased for $5 each per ticket. Wristbands good for the entire four-day festival June 7-10 are also available for $20 each.

Discount prices are available on mail-orders May 1-28. Discounted tickets are also available at all ticket retail locations May 1-June 10. Tickets will be sold at the UTSA Bursar's office and at the Institute of Texan Cultures.

Highlights for this year's festival include a return of last year's popular Wells Fargo stagecoach for opening ceremonies at 5:50 p.m. June 7 by the ITC flagpoles. The stage will carry 2001 commemorative TFF coins, redeemable for $1 in food coupons.

Seniors will be admitted on June 7 for $4 at the gate, and June 10 is Kids' Day, when all youngsters 12 years and under will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
