Students Participate in Official Ring Ceremony

UTSA Class RingsFor the last five years students with at least 60 credit hours have had the opportunity to purchase unique rings displaying the official university seal. Each semester students who elect to purchase them have the opportunity to participate in an official ring ceremony held once a semester.

This semester 35 students purchased the official Alumni Association Class Ring. Students have a color option of yellow gold or white. They can also choose 10 karat or 14 carat with a price range from $285-$410.

Patricia Graham, assistant to vice president for student affairs for planning and special programs, was on hand to officially distribute the rings to 35 students at a ceremony held recently.

Alumni Office Program Coordinator Stephanie Miller said, "Other companies make similar rings, but this design will never change. Alumni parents whose children attend UTSA in the future could also elect to purchase rings with the same exact design as the one their mom's and dad's had."
