Blood drive set for today at 1604 Campus

(Nov. 7, 2001)--The South Texas Blood and Tissue Center will conduct a blood drive for students and those without appointments from 12:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 7 on the 1604 Campus in the Multidisciplinary Studies Building Kiva (2.02.18).

Staff and faculty can donate blood from 12:30-2:30 p.m. on an appointment basis to allow more individuals to be able to donate. Donors will receive a t-shirt and a chance to win Southwest Airline tickets.

A donor can give blood every eight weeks, and more frequently for blood components. Additional blood drives are scheduled throughout the year and will be announced.

To make an appointment, call Margaret Black in student health services at 458-4142.
