"Festival of Musical Cultures" will feature children's performances
(Nov. 26, 2001)--The Institute of Texan Cultures (ITC) in collaboration with Youth Orchestras of San Antonio (YOSA) will present the "Festival of Musical Cultures" from 3-4:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2 on the ITC exhibit floor. The concert is included with the regular admission fee.
Ring in the holidays with your family and friends as you experience the blending of San Antonio's diversity through music as YOSA presents its Capriccio String Orchestra, Beginner Strings and Intermediate Strings students. You can enjoy an afternoon of music celebrating peace and cultural diversity performed by elementary and middle school children from San Antonio and surrounding areas.
ITC, one of the three campuses of the University of Texas at San Antonio,
is an educational center concerned with the history and diverse cultures of
Texas. Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for children (3-12), $3 for seniors
(65+) and military with I.D and free for children 2 and under. Open Tuesday-Sunday,
9 a.m.-5 p.m., ITC is located in downtown San Antonio. For more information
