(Oct. 10, 2001)--Ballots to nominate representatives for the UTSA Staff Council are being sent by campus mail this week to all UTSA classified and professional/administrative staff. The council reminds you to make your nominations and return your ballot.

Twelve classified positions and four professional/administrative positions are up for election to the council. All of the classified representative positions will be for a two year term . Three of the professional/administrative representative positions will also be for a two year term, and one position will be for a one year term to fill a vacant position.

All newly elected representatives will be asked to attend a Staff Council workshop in December, and then will begin their terms in January 2002.
