Visiting professor Klaus Mosbach, University of Lund, Sweden

Visiting Swedish professor speaks today on molecular imprinting

(Oct. 10, 2001)--Professor Klaus Mosbach, director of the Center for Molecular Imprinting and Recognition at the University of Lund, Lund, Sweden, is visiting the UTSA College of Sciences this week. He will present a lecture, “Can the Next Generation in Molecular Imprinting Lead to Useful Biomimics of Receptors, Antibodies and Drugs?” at 5:30 p.m. today in Humanities and Social Science Building Room 2.01.06 at the 1604 Campus.

Mosbach has authored more than 450 articles and holds approximately 60 patents. His honors include membership on the Swedish Parliament committee for the Nobel Prize and election as the first Scandinavian Fellow of the International Institute of Biotechnology.
