It's time to get rowdy for UTSA volleyball
(Sept. 28, 2001)--Everyone is invited to join the Blue Crew at 6 p.m. this evening to get pumped for a ruckus at the school year's first Rowdy Rally. The rally will take place on the west concourse of the Convocation Center on the 1604 Campus before the volleyball home opener. Following the rally, the Roadrunners will host Southeastern Louisiana at 7 p.m. for the volleyball home opener. UTSA will be back in action again at 4 p.m., Saturday against Nicholls State.
Membership cards and t-shirts will be available at the rally and during the
game. New members can sign up free at the game. Free membership enrollment
ends on October 15. All UTSA students are admitted to athletic events free
of charge.
Blue Crew to Party after Games
The 10th Commandment for Blue Crew members is "Thou shall be rewarded."
The rewards start this weekend at EZ's restaurant, 5230 DeZavala. All Blue
Crew members will be given a $2 discount on all entrees after the Friday and
Saturday volleyball games. Similar discounts and after-game parties have been
arranged with University Bowl, Bennigan's, Hooters and Wings N More. Come
to the games then party on with the Blue Crew Friday and Saturday at EZ's.
