Facilities services staff saluted during National Housekeeping Week

(Sept. 7, 2001)--Next week be sure to thank your UTSA facilities services team for their invaluable service to the university community. National Housekeeping Week is Sept. 9-15.

"Housekeeping makes every day shine," said Victoria Jacques, manager of customer relations and special projects for facilities services. "We honor and salute them for their dedication and hard work. They work in shifts from 5 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. in order to keep our facilities clean, comfortable and safe."

"They serve as first-line greeters and provide information to students and visitors," Jacques added. "So, please take a little time to show your appreciation."
